The folks that know me on LL are aware that I'm a big HK fan and especially of this rifle in particular. The frogman's test was conducted both with stock rifles. Awhile back I put my buddy in touch with an outfit that retrofits your AR-15 upper to a single piston system to avoid this catastrophe. I hear he's very happy with it and it functions fantastic.

@Sauerbutsweet1 Spike's doesn't have anything other than than the one type of BCG per caliber and the same barrels and M4 feed ramps. They're all the same. There is no such thing as a "custom" Spike's parts. Everything they used was Spike's and they only have one thing. I own a BCM upper with the auto BCG and standard 1:7 barrel all standard mil spec shit and many owners have ran them through mud and dirt through thousands of rounds and they run with no jams.

@Sauerbutsweet1 Custom how? It's the standard mid-length upper. There's nothing you can do "custom" that would fix a problem like that.

@bigstabby its custom.....this vid is just talking about the gun right of the shelf. It isnt rigged either because ive had bad experiences with m4's and mud...and water

@tellyman6688500 ((This is just my opinion)) in 2006 when I did my basic military training. I was shocker (offenced) that our weapons can jammed... Back Then I don't understand why we use weapons that can jam or explose when it should be our own protection to survive. Well Today, I could just say. They won't pay much to do so less. hehe
