I want to see that animation again too. It WAS CREEPY. The other one you're talking about I would have to see again for it to jog my memory.

I never understood this clip. What's the point?

I've sought in vain for the clip you mention.
Other clips in this style seem to be a frog that inflates and explodes, the fox and the crow, a bird and a catterpillar, and something about chess if I remember correctly.
The connecting theme seems to be some sort of trick, either on the viewer or on a character within the clip. The Mountain, or whatever it was called, has given me nightmares for decades. What could it have meant? Some wierd take on the story about a tree, snake, and you know who?

You guys are correct; the gnomes do come out of the vase. I'm looking for a clip in particular with this same style of animation. It's with I think a frog sticking its long tongue out at am apple tree and a very eerie piece of music plays in the background. The screen then pans out and you see that the tree is on top of a mountain, and the mountain itself is a head. Anyone have this?

I think you're right about the appreciation of arts...sometimes you don't need the explanation, just the imagination.

I actually came looking for this clip because I remember how the music affected me. It was a nice calm piece in the midst of loud stuff like Mah na mah na. Maybe it was for classical music exposure/appreciation?

The last time I checked, three was a number.
That could be from 1974.
