Does anyone remember they did this Flower Shop angle more than once? I remember plain as day another time when Adonis asked Hulk if he accepts Studd & Bundy's challenege, Orndorff interrupted Hulk and yelled NO....Adonis then said "No?? What? confusion!" sarcasticly.
But i have not see it anywhere since it was aired.
Thanks, i was starting to think i was imagining things....I cant believe they never show this fued or the Bundy & Studd match on any DVD's or Hulk's DVD's. Its the best fued in wrestling history i think. Everyone remembers exactly where they were & what they were doin at the time....Thank you for posting and keeping the classics alive :)
Wow! I remember watching this when it first aired on national t.v. (August/1986). I was eight years old. I remember going crazy when Orndorff clothesline Hogan and turning his back against him. Later that month, WWF (back then) would produced their first big PPV with "The Big Event" from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Great times for wrestling fans. Sure miss those days.
It's nit-picky to say, but they really should have had a match of this level of importance in a bigger venue than that Mid-Hudson Civic Center...It always looked more like NWA in there...
At the end of part one, Orndorf tells Heenan he's going to call Hogan to be his partner for the tag match with Studd and Bundy. What is didn't show was the part where Orndorf was on the phone ordering whoever answered it to have Hogan come to the phone. It ends with Ornforf, saying, "He's not coming? HE SAID WHAT? HE SAID WHAT?" hanging up the phone in disgust, and pissed as hell that Hogan didn't come to take the call.
