@jessled1 If you are referring to the picture of the lumen of the small intestines...i got it from a research article.....my sources where many, i don't remember exactly now.....but it included good medical sites and some research articles

Ok thanks-because I'm doing a project sort of similar to this one as well actually. But this is some great information about celiac disease at the cellular level-again you really did a great job.

@lemaro1977 yes a blood test is very informative....depends on ur case though, sometimes ur condition is very illusive that a doctor might want to make sure using a biopsy......but if ur doctor only gave u a blood test, then she knows what she's doing....ur case might not require one

she did not tell nothing about biopsy. Only the blood test was required by her..

@lemaro1977 if u do have celiac, and ur doctor thinks so, he might go ahead w/ a biopsy........but yes the blood test will tell u a lot.
