@calamityjane1988may Thank you, Regina... I'm really happy you're enjoying some of the songs i"ve posted. She has so much great music ... so many to choose from ! There's a dog food in the US called Caesar's and they had a commercial using this song. I was thinking .. that really sounds familiar .. oh my .. its Doris !! =)

I dont know why but I love music from this era, and am so drawn to this era. Maybe Im from here in another life. All I know is that I love it, and love 1940's Doris more now hearing her before the films she made in the 50's and beyond. She is so beautiful and has a voice to match.

Beautiful! It reminded me of sitting in my beach house in Maine relaxing on my patio drinking some nice Old Number 7 smoking a fine cigar and looking at a light house remembering the war in the Pacific.
