Simcity 4 Train Ride

Taking a ride in the most overlooked network in the GTR, riding the train is actually an effective means of transportation for both short and long distance travel. This video gives the rail network the recognition it deserves by showcasing a part of it in a dense urban environment.

We follow a passenger train traveling to different parts of the city including the CBD, residential districts and the industrial area.

WTF my train sucks I think the tracks are broken like if I put a 90 degree turn in there are no tracks on that turn part

@OlderG0ds You can't make a 90 degree rail curve as it's way too tight for trains. Use two 45 degree curves instead.

@haljackey Ohh, thanks. That's new cause I know past sim games the rails could do 90 turn. I'll give it a shot , no wonder my stupid train wasn't running lol.

Also is this a train mission or just joyriding?

@OlderG0ds Yes it is more realistic that way. Highways, rail, monorail and RHW cannot curve 90 degrees, you have to use two 45 degree curves instead. I would recommend using smooth curves for all networks as it is even more realistic.

omg dude, you should run for mayor for your city lol, amazing connections, i dont know if i will ever be as good as you are. The Transportation of my city sucks, Everytime i build rail roads, i never see the god damn train, and sometimes people dont use it, so i use monorails now.
