Link then played Saria's Song to talk to Navi and Saria. After all that crap, Link went back inside the Fire Temple and headed for the the room on the top left. This is the room where he met Darunia. Link is now ready to go inside the Boss layer. He used the Boss Key and opened the huge door. Link arrives at a room with a large rock platform on the center surrounded by molten lava everywhere! After Link headed to the rock platform, the small square platform he jumped from sank down to the lava. Link is now trap! Afterwards, Link has finally come face to face with the Subterranean Lava Dragon Volvagia. Link used the legendary Megaton Hammer, the Fairy Bow and of course the Master Sword to battle the dragon. It was pretty epic until Link got ownd. Luckily, he was carrying a fairy with him in a bottle which revived him after he lose consciousness! Link delivered the finishing blow and best collapse into pieces bones and all. Link grabs the next heart which brings his health to a total of thirteen hearts. Link then enters the blue light so he can get teleported to the Chamber of the Sages! The dark flaming clouds that covered Death Mountain has now vanish and everything seem to go back to normal kinda. Back at the Chamber of the Sages, Link meets the Darunia who now has become the Sage of Fire. He gave Link the Fire Medallion as a sign of their friendship and brotherhood. Link then gets teleported back at the Death Mountain Crater. Link went back in the Fire Temple to make sure he has caught all the Golden Skulltula. After going back out, Link went back to the broken bridge and Hookshot his way across. He then use the Megaton Hammer to destroy the huge boulder blocking an underground hole just in front of the broken bridge. Link arrives at an underground Deku scrub hideout. There's three of 'em trying hurt Link and sell stuff. heh

  • "That cloud over Death Mountain... There is something strange about it". No sh*%!. When I first saw that fire cloud over death mountain I instantly remembered being told that the cloud reflected the state of the mountain. If the cloud looked normal, things were normal and if it did not look normal something terrible had happened. I guess Darunia made you feel like a true brother, so when I saw the clouds were fiery red, I remember trying to race there as fast as I could to save them :D.
