Beijing Olympic 2008 Torch Relay passed Bangkok, Thailand

This event happened around 6.05 pm, on Saturday, 19 April 2008.(local time)

And I'm a one Thai among the cheerful crowds who were waiting to see the olympic torch relay at the last pitstop. There are a group of Chinese, mostly students studying in Thailand, waiting here as well. You can hear some Mandarin sound from them.

Let me explain some details a bit: a Thai famous singer, "Jetrin Wattanasin", passed the flame to the last torch holder, "Pawina Thongsuk", the Thai female gold medalist from Athens 2004 weightlifting. These 2 person are among 80 Thai delegates from all walks of life who ran along 10.4 km torch relay's route in Bangkok.

And surprising or not!!, this global Olympic torch relay in Thailand leg completed smoothly without any big hassles like in some western countries.

I wish Beijing Olympics 2008 succeed in every way.
