@pgbruiser That's a lot of fans in general. No matter what sport or team. They all have their crazy, defensive group of fans. It's always been that way.

Why are Red Wings fans so bitter & mean spirited? I watch a lot of hockey videos & read a lot of hockey website blogs/articles, & Wings fans always seem to be pissed off & defensive. I don't get it. Why the insecurity? Why such HATE for everything NOT Red Wings? I mean I understand competition between fanbases that produce a strong dislike, but Wings' fans give off such a venomous hate its almost scary.
A very high % of Wings' fans seem to be generally angry whether the Wings win or lose. Why?
