A man under 24-y.o. is more likely to die by gunshot than finish college. . .fucking sad. Way fucking sad. Even sadder that it isn't going to change. What makes New Orleans sick permeates every shadow and corridor, business and bar. It is a sponge that's been soaked in corruption for too long.

Very well done. Knowledge=Power.

This is the real right here. Great video *thumbs up*. Has N.O. learned nothing post-Katrina? I wonder how many N.O. citizens give a damn about the crime saga in N.O. Obviously they like the murder epidemic in their city.

Well, if a "black male" is so likely to "be killed," and "black on black crime" is the problem, then guess who's more likely to be a MURDERER? It's politically acceptable to say "young black men are dying." Why is it so bad to point out that "young black males are KILLING"?

You're right dheschete. That's why it's stated in 3:07 to 3:10 in the video "Young black men die, by young black hands!" The last line of the song also notes that blacks are the ones killing each other sic. "If this was a holocaust, one that we would choose. We would be the Germans and we'd be the Jews." It denotes that we are both the killers and the victims.

I'm glad to see some conscious hip-hop here in New Orleans. We need this!

Thanks editorb. There are a few of us in New Orleans. Our major problem has been venues to perform and reach the right demographic.
