@adiblasi I Totally agree TOTALY! I have taken this computer in for many things but the say every time: "reset the PRAM, verify permissions, run disk repair." I have told them what was wrong and it still took them two fucking days to figure out it was what i said it was.

@adiblasi Just LIE to the first level of tech support, provided you actually know what you are doing of course. I always do, and I get better service.

@adiblasi Every time I call an apple support tech and they tel me to reset the SMU or PRAM I die inside a little... lol
I honestly think I had more problems with my iMac after I got it back; when I realised the idiot tech hadn't put the logic board in properly and the ports weren't lined up with the holes, preventing me from plugging in anything into most ports. This was after he had already had it for a week... I almost cried... Not to mention he scratched up the stand.. Apple"care" my arse...
I wanna be you when i'm old...(lol) you are great

Typical... Apple's solution to everything is "reset the PRAM, verify permissions, run disk repair". They ALWAYS give me that crap. I swear apple techs are mentally retarded. Took my iMac in to Apple due to a PSU issue... TOLD the apple tech it was the PSU. Do you think he listened though? So I was without a work computer for over a week while he screwed around changing the logic board and crap. Turned out that it WAS the PSU. He should have listened to me instead of screwing around...

@MrYoshiDan Dan, YES I go absolutely bonkers when they give me the stock line of "reset the PRAM, verify permissions, run disk repair." Looking back, between the two MacPros, two iMacs, and four MacBook Pro's I've purchased for myself, family members, and/or for my company - I've had 100% failure. Each and every one of these very expensive systems had a problem. As I openly state -- I'm not impressed. I use both the Windows Server and OS X platforms, and Apple's products all have had failure.
