Comparo Roadster Speed Triple R 1200 R Monster 1100

C'est en plein hiver 2009, dans le froid et surtout la neige que nous avons opposé la Ducati 1100 Monster aux Triumph Speed Triple et BMW R 1200 R. Le comparatif de ces roadsters musclés est à découvrir dans Moto2 224 daté de Février 2009. Surprise : c'est la BM qui s'impose dans ces terribles conditions. La vidéo est courte, on s'en excuse, mais la prise de vue a été écourtée par une pie farceuse ayant décidé de jouer les kamikaze avec l'un d'entre nous. Résultat ? Une belle glissade sur le verglas. La pie, vainqueur par KO et la vidéo... Incomplète. Ce n'est que partie remise !

Seeing the results of the test, the BMW is on nthe right place. It was all about good feelings and sporty/roady qualities. The R 1200 R is really a great bike, whose price "naked" (out of options) is quite competitive ragrding the other models. The three of them had good arguments and the compara is really interesting. I had a great time riding them during an 800 km trip in France ;-)

I know the exact same at the end of the video as I did at the beginning. Title should read, "Hey, I am a first year film student working on my fuzzy camera effect and oh by the way there are three motorcycle riders in it".

I think the Triple is the one out of place here. The Ducati and the BMW are both air cooled twin roadsters, while the Triumph is more of a streetfighter. Perfect comparison would have been M1100 vs R1200R vs Breva 1200 Sport.

I can understand the Monster 1100 vs the Speed Triple, but the R1200R seems out of place.
