  • Downtown phoenix is getting better--its just taking time. Phoenix has through the years put its effort on annexation of land instead of focus on the downtown district. The City of Phoenix today is larger in land then Chicago, Philly and Atlanta combined and still not done growing! Fact is people still move to Phoenix because of low taxes and quality of living and its only going to get better. I have to wonder if your motive has something to do with the anti-illegal alien laws and GOP in AZ?

  • @firemanstud1981

i'm happy you like living in phoenix, az. i have no motive other than to record what i witness as i travel around the country.

  • definitely not one of my favorite cities. and from what I can tell, it's only getting worse.

  • @sputniksays I do not live in Phoenix--visited many many times and have family there. I am also moving there. Maybe you could document the shootings in the City I live in now (which is chicago). Every time I have been to downtown Phoenix during the day it has people walking and activity. Like I said there is a reason people flee cities like Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and move to cities like Dallas, Phoenix and others.

  • I live here in Phoenix. Extremely boring place to live. Maybe I’m use to nightlife back home in New York. Or the weather in San Diego. But Phoenix is making me very depressed. DOWNTOWN Phoenix is a ghost town. It’s weird dead and has been that way for 10 solid years. If your 75 years old or maybe a really dull person, move here. Otherwise you will be ½ dead. Good luck finding friends.

  • I live in San Francisco and went to Phx to visit a friend. I'm personally used to seeing people all the time outside so when i went to AZ i didn't like it.

When i mean people outside I mean people walking on the sidewalk, sitting outside, random noises, cars driving around.

  • Just another Ghost Town USA. As I travel from New york to PA, to Lousiana, New Orleans, Texas, Florida, Georgia... Its amazing. They all left for the big cities ...

    Sad state.

  • @firemanstud1981 Phoenix is getting better? Well of course it is... it's at rock bottom. It can ONLY get better. What "quality of living" are you referring to? The fact that you have to drive to get anywhere? The barren scenery? The stripmalls? The hour commute from the suburbs? The worst particle pollution is the entire country? One of the worst education systems? Anybody who thinks Phoenix is a proper place to live is either delusional or a realtor.

  • its hot outside come back and film in a few hours!!!

  • I saw more people walking downtown on a 105 degree day. Definetly wasn't a lot going on that day. By the fact that Phoenix has built so many new things downtown and attracted more than 2 thousand people to live downtown just in one month, Phoenix is becoming a better city. And it's pretty obvious that that block will be dead because it 2 blocks on convention center and nothings going on.
