Looking back on it you're right about the helmets and the spear (that is anything but the roman pillum, though i stay with the chainmail thing.
The Roman army as we would imagine it didn't have chainmail, and then later, when the Roman empire started to decay, the armor and overall look of the legionaire drasticly changed.

@LoLSeba432 Thats actually not true. Romans were one of the first to wear chain mail though for the most part they wore segmented breastplates. You are right however of these not being Romans for the helmets and armor are not of Roman designed and the shield and spear the one is holding are not of Roman design either.
