So yes , Bardock probably couldn`t go Super but not because he was evil(which he wasn`t)but because he would be far too conflicted.If you paid any attention at all during The Special , you`d know Bardock was neither purely good(like Goku)nor purely evil(like Vegeta , initially).That`s why I love him so much.He`s not just another barbaric Saiyan.

Um , Bardock`s Death Power Level was 10,000.Raditz` Death Power Level was 1,200(& he had The Nerve to call Goku & Piccolo weak?)which is way lower.Also , Bardock wasn`t evil.He was a soldier doing his job , as were The Rest of His Crew.Even if he was evil , it wouldn`t matter `cause The Only Requirements for becoming A Super Saiyan are extreme rage(initially) , a sufficient Power Level & a pure heart which can be either pure good or pure evil.

DAMN.! i dunno where to start! i read all the commentsz. umm no episdoe where goku ns bardock fight get it right.. bardock WUSZ SOOO WHERE NEAR picollosz level fused wit nail. bardock had a lower level than raditz wen he arrived on earth. highest power level of saiyan at time wusz like 1,000 ndd hell if bardock wusz still alive tht wouldnt matter cuz no one would train him nd he would probably still be evil nd kill nd not trrain like goku did nd wouldnt get too ssj4
