  • Shoeless Joe? Dick Allen? Bill Melton?

  • Perhaps I should have made room for Joe Jackson and left Fielder Jones out. You might have a point with that one. Dick Allen's claim to fame came with his time as a Phillie even though he had some solid years with the White Sox.

  • you can't even get the players in their correct positions! sheeeeeesh.minos is the greatest lf ever for sox. baines never played lf. he was a terrible rf put him at dh if anwyhere. jim landis was the greatest cf ever.. bat notwithstanding. any all time squad without sholess joe is a fraud. no aparicio, luke appling instead. no ventura, jackson at 3B.

  • @md4bush carleton fisk played more games for the white sox, hit more HR for the white sox than he did for the red sox. he would have wanted to be inducted as a white sox if "alligator arms jerry" hadn't refused to pay his airfare back to chicago after releasing him on the road his last year.reinsdork can be a smallminded weenie over some perceived insult to his manhood or something equally as silly.

  • @loyaldude10 luke appling was the GREATEST SS in sox history.played 20 years, lifetime 2700H .310BA .399OBP(!)won 2 batting titles, one OBP title 13 time all star.hit a 375 foot HR at the 1983 all star old timers game..WHEN HE WAS 76 YEARS OLD. true. think a little more about LUKE APPLING. he was in fact the greatest

  • @JohnnyStorm2007 richie allen

  • @OPSportsInc solid year?please .308 led league in ALL these categories:37HR 113RBI .420OBP 1.23OPS .603 SLUG i saw him hit HR over the bullpen into the gap between the cf & rf stands one night.my girlfriend & i were shouting in each other's ear, couldn't hear each other.the crowd loved richie more than ANY other player i ever saw at comiskey from minnie minoso in '54 to the end of this last season.the man was more than qualified. he was as good as any player i ever saw.richie was the man

  • whodafuk is luke aparicio?!?i know LUKE APPLING,i know LUIS APARICIO, but never a LUKE APARICIO.get a clue. incidentally luke appling was a dynamite hitter. FAR superior to aparicio.at the '83 all-star game, appling hit a HR in the oldtimers game. he was 76 YEARS OLD (that's seventy-six) yes, i saw it.yes it went over the wall in left field, about 375 feet. yes it really happened.

  • @MrCapinver ya the cubs are so good even though they are the least succesful sports team in the last 103 years

  • Most Underrated Sox player... Pat Kelly.

  • Here's mine: SS Bucky Dent 2B Jorge Orta 3B Bill Melton 1B Dick Allen LF Ralph Garr CF Chet Lemon RF Ritchie Zisk DH Oscar Gamble C Brian Downing. I know yours have better players, but this would be my choice.

  • Richie Zisk?
