On 8/20/2008, police were called by KPFA and Pacifica management to arrest a unpaid staff member Nadra Haeidy Foster at the station for trespassing. She was attacked, hogtied and arrested. This interview was conducted at the Alameda court house on 8/25/2008 with
some of her supporters.
Following the arraignment Lemlem Rijio the interim manager of KPFA entered the court house to drop the charges filed by KFPA and Pacifica. Other charges are still pending.

PINCHES PUTOS no puedo en contra poecias de este guey.i was a teen in the 80'slistened to la onda bajita on fridays.not because it was a mexican or chicano show,but the was the live style i was into.i l;iked the music,Q'vos,dedicas& cuz almost everybody had a spanish name like mine.but everybody that listened to the show knows that EL GAVILAN had a little segment in the show were he used to recite poetry.so if anybody has original shows.or knows were to axes his poetry please let me know LALO

This is truly astonishing. I can hardly believe how much time and money I wasted trying to save this station, which now seems so close to unsalvageable. This is just too over the top for me to continue to feel much connection to it at all--though i will listen to a few programs for as long as they can stay on the air.
