Congressman Ron Paul and 263 other members of Congress are demanding an investigation into the U.S. Federal Reserve system, igniting a battle between members of Congress and the American financial elite, who say auditing the Fed would result in 'grave consequences'. The Federal Reserve is one of the most powerful financial institutions in the world, and many experts say, one of the most secretive. Ron Paul and other lawmakers say they won't give up until they know for sure what the Fed is doing behind closed doors.

@Visc0us1488 And yet they still have more influence over any other government. I don't see anything wrong with that statement, she never referred to it as a government entity only merely that it is more powerful than any other government.

This chick misspoke when she said the FED has infuence over the economy than compared to any other government body. The FED isnt apart of the goernment or any government for that matter.

I love this man soo damn much! He really deserves to be the leader in OUR white house. Almost 75 years old and still fighting for us.. just incredible! This man defines the true definition of character, integrity, and concern for the people. I hope to see him ring that liberty bell again as president in 2012 and cry out.. "For Liberty"! He really is our last hope!
