Protest of Maurice Eisenstein

The Purdue University Calumet student body is in an uproar today (November 9th, 2011). Professor Maurice Eisenstein, a teacher of Political Science at PUC, has, at multiple times in his tenured career, spoken open racial and ethnic slurs during his discussions in class, in addition to openly stating his derogatory words on his personal Facebook page. We here at Purdue, a multicultural university, do NOT condone this type of behavior from ANY professor. Here's to ensuring that his 'teachings' disappear from the hallowed halls of this school.

Unreal, how a teacher can promote intolerance and hate? If he is not fired then something really weird is going on at PUC, by the way they should also fire Greg Obi a mediocre teacher in Economics protected by his brother Pat Obi

You know whats scary about all this? If u look at this proff page, you'll see how much this person hates Muslims and there's no changing his mind. Even if what he "thinks" he knows about Sharea or Islam is not true. Islam is the Religion of Peace! For your information SHAREA LAW does not say kill your self or harm others please people u must know this. You do have your radicals who dont care and they are not TRUE MUSLIMS! What's more scary is look reading the Quran and seeing all the hate it teaches for all none Muslims and what's more scary look at all the violence and hate none Muslims go through at the hands of Muslims in every Muslim majority country.

@timvalente1 Are you kidding me? Have you listened to his recorded lectures? This is not about being politically correct. This is about a person who is teaching Muslim students, and yet he completely despises them. How is a Muslim student supposed to feel welcome in a classroom where a teacher is bluntly stating his hatred for them? I personally do not want to pay a bunch of money to sit in a classroom where I feel my beliefs are being ridiculed the person who is in control of my grade.

Did you know that he has degree in communication? How come he is teaching economics? He is only there because his brother is a pseudo guru in the school of management, other than that he would be death or unemployed. He is just a mediocre power point reader. by the way, how many publication he has? just ask him that

What is wrong with you people? He is teaching college students, and it is political science teacher. Political Science has to deal with theories and arguments, and if someone has a problem with his veiws, then fight back. Whose fault is it that no one wants to sit down and have a debate with the guy and settle it like civil beings? College students are old enough to think for themselves, and if they believe he is wrong, then so be it. Stop being babies, and go on following your goals.
