Digital organs are in such an advanced state with voiceable stops, etc. that well-trained ears have difficulty telling them from pipes. A well-done digital and a fine pipe organ in the same room with good acoustics are absolutely impossible to differentiate.
In this or any other economy churches have to count their pennies like everyone else. The cost of a pipe organ is difficult to justify when digital organs are so advanced and you can get so much organ for so little money, comparatively.

The point that they're trying to make is that you can't even tell that it's an electronic organ because it's so similar. However, Allen should be the last company to make that claim. They are one of the worst when it comes to electronic organs. They're just the most well-known. Ahlborn-Galanti has a legitimate claim, though, as do Johannus, Rodgers, and Phoenix. It's not the same, but it's hard to tell with some of the digital ranks.
