That app seems handy but i'm worried about the interface about the highlight interface. It seems a little messy. Overall it looks incredibly useful and when the iPad comes out make a big desktop version for it.

It's actually really great - it's just as messy (or neat) as you are in real life. With my lines, I did the back-and-forth swipe - with the other lines, I did a left-right, left-right line-by-line swipe, and the highlighting looks exactly the way it does when I highlight paper scripts.
