Outrigger Canoe paddlers change like the "Pony Express" changed horses. After a 26 mile race on Lake Washington, around Mercer Island, it was a close finish, with Team Pacific NW (Alias TeamBlackwater, guns for hire),and Kikaha O Ke Kai. Thanks Everyone for the good time!!! bboats2

Love the in-water change of the stroke. Looked like an enormously fun race. The OCs win the prize for most photogenic of the human-powered boats (and this comment is coming from a rower/kayaker). The energy really comes through.
