Here is my new 60 gallon Vortex Brewer™. I made a bamboo and teak frame for it. It has a 30 degree cone bottom tank and a Sweetwater SL170 air pump. I fit the valve manifold into a piece of Black Bamboo for a nicer look. In the video you can see light in the Vortex from the bottom manifold. It was brewing at the mini Acres-USA Body and Soil Conference on our Big Island this past weekend. I built this small version the week before the conference because my 350 gallon one is too hard to move!

  • Water flow is strong enough lower as the water flows out fast from the tank, then we keep it going with the Lift. Kinda like handing off the work further upstream.

  • Aloha, this is not for stirring Biodynamic Preps. It is for brewing AACT and generally mixing certain fertilizer type sustances before application. I stir my BD Preps by hand.
