Savannah, Georgia has always been a city for romantics. And the crown jewel of this gracious southern city epitomizes all that is the Old South. Forsyth Park remains one of the most visually abundant locales in all of Savannah.
In my painting, Savannah Romance, Ive paid homage to the majestic Forsyth Fountain. Ive also included an abundance of color dogwood and mimosa trees vie for attention with resplendent southern magnolias and lush azaleas.
Whether youve been to Savannah, or simply long to visit, may Savannah Romance truly bring out the dreamers heart in all of us.

  • MCpance, your superficial and opinionated interpretation of Mr Kincade's work and the appreciation thereof in my opinion are untrue and soully lacking in depth and insight! With an outlook like yours, untrue and missing the mark from every possible perspective, I read what you wrote and indeed hear a 'dead world," defined by what it lacks (in your opinion).....is that the way you view your life, your friends, your family? SAD, without depth or context! Re-evaluate your way of taking in beauty!

  • Savannah is beautiful and so rich in culture and history..I LOVE it!

  • "His worlds are little theatrical sets without depth or context. They are fantasies. And that could be all right, in itself ... But most fantasies exist to show us something fantastic, something that doesn't exist ... So, if Kinkade's work is best understood as fantasy, the question becomes, what is the fantasy? It's a dead world defined mostly by what it lacks: people, animals, movement, conflict, meaning."
