@prestotodayo The 392 Hemis and later the 426 Hemi's were always the engine of choice for dragsters and for the street. IF you didnt have one you were usually at a disadvantage.

@62chevrolet nailheads have a one of a kind bolt pattern. They make adaptor kits which are expensive to bolt to any kind of trany known to man if thats what your after but buicks up until 62 had the torque tube making conversions expensive since most trannys people want to swap out for are open end driveshaft trannys. Nice shifting man, even if a blower motor beat you, no shame. What tranny you running? Also does that nailhead have a specific buick bell housing pattern or is it a standard GM type?
