Rush Limbaugh TV- America's Best Days Are Yet To Come

These days, the Democrats and media types are pushing the negative: the war, the recession, Enron and military mishaps. Even some Republicans and conservatives see our culture as falling into the abyss. This kind of thinking has always abounded, and Rush has always dismissed it - as was the case on the January 18, 1996 episode of Rush Limbaugh the Television Show, which Rush kicked off by enumerating reasons for optimism.

There are many reasons the attempts to find a so-called "Liberal Rush Limbaugh" have never borne fruit. One of these reasons sprouts from Rush's eternal optimism and good humor in the face of adversity. That's a key part of the EIB Network's success - a part our doom-and-gloom counterparts on the left cannot hope to achieve as they foster one "crisis" after another.

Yet, as Rush has achieved success, many across the fruited plain have attributed his positive outlook to having "made it." They've even accused him of being "out of touch." But this kind of thinking is flawed, putting the chicken before the egg. Rush doesn't have confidence in the opportunity America offers because he's had success; he has had success because he's always had confidence in the opportunity America offers.

Our best days are truly ahead of us, my friends, and we here at the EIB Network still believe in Ronald Reagan's "shining city on the hill."
