Let's yield to the evidence and promote ignorance because we don't have the guts to fight those that would return to the days of theocracy. If we get used to this we'll live under it, and if we live under it we will be marching backward in time!

I'm a teacher and I've had ENOUGH of this theocratic bullying! In my class we do the opposite, we take on these influences and I hope we lay them to rest! (The phone calls have slowed, because I fight back.)

A biology teacher that is a creationist, a VP candidate that denies global warming and evolution, and a country that places 2nd last in the world when polled on their understanding of biological science. When are we going to grow up and understand the harm that comes to a society that believes faith in invisible sky fairies is of little consequence to our schools and the policy makers that direct them? Our schools are political first and educational second, a distant second.
