Enjoy and leave a comment if you will. I'm just an amateur of digital painting so it took a few hour to do this, this was not a race but i feel like i will be able to do the same as a speed painting soon.

btw, some parts are missing because of cam studio recorder that uses to not save the video when i run out of memory. So the first part of the head is missing, as well as the end.

  • Looked good before the hair was mesed with -- face should be lighter against that background.

  • @aattura yes, i had an hard time to do hair, i don't know how to do a realistic look, and i shouldn't have used pure black too

  • is corel better than photoshop for painting?

  • @OhplsAndrew Yes, there's no way photoshop can compete Painter on reproducing natural media, and this new version of painter is so intuitive and ergonomic it's such a pleasure to paint with it!

  • tutorials would help a lot more. cant even tell what is going on its so fast. maybe take time to explain some techniques ???

  • @erichitz79

My goal wasn't to explain anything, i'm not a master, but maybe i will do my next video slower

  • @WizardofCake Thank you too.

  • @WhiteCredo Thanks. I'm a total noob, but I'm amazed when I look at what people can draw. You are pretty good! :)

  • @WizardofCake

Some artists can do incredible pieces only with their mouse, but that's pretty hard, I think.

I am using a small Bamboo Fun Pen and Touch, for my part. It wasn't that expensive.

  • Do people draw with a mouse,,, or you need one of em Wacom pens??

  • this is an incredibly beautiful piece :) the color scheme and the lighting make it very effective. Well done!

  • Wish I could sketch anatomy this well. Always the hardest part for me. Making characters look proper. Like your style :)

  • this piece is so INSPIRING! i love your colours and this piece itself

  • Kewl!

  • Did you use a reference picture? Or was this sketching and then working layers?

I mean, was there a photo you were looking at or something? I am very new to this, and i am still learning basics. Thanks
