Agreed. Her lyrics are sometimes too confessional and self-hating for me to live inside too long without suffocating, but her music is *so damn good*, and SHE comes through in it in such a singular, ironically warm/likeable way. Few artists are unmistakeably identifiable, but she manages to rock her thing even when she's backing others up. Anyway, thanks for the post.
