I think that must be a typo in the credits, this place was torn down in 1985, and was Joe's Star Lounge for the 3+ years before that. Maybe 1980? I remember the night Johnny Thunders torn down that false ceiling above the stage, and that was before I owned the place.

Nice version of his classic song! He was older, yet never lost his amazing 'high baratone' voice. Sad to think that he passed away the next year. To the very end he stayed true to himself,
