I think that must be a typo in the credits, this place was torn down in 1985, and was Joe's Star Lounge for the 3+ years before that. Maybe 1980? I remember the night Johnny Thunders torn down that false ceiling above the stage, and that was before I owned the place.
Great to see this video. The guitar guys were doing it right. Rob Tyner didn't know the time he had left and he just kept rocking. Rob and the MC5 will kick ass forever!
and he looks beyond cool in that kick ass studded leather. Wayne Kramer sang about him "he knew a little something about everything." Man, this guy was transcendent!!!!
