Here's a clip from the great movie I'm From Hollywood. Kaufman's challenge is accepted by a large local woman named Foxy. The match isn't really shown but the post match antics between Kaufman and Lawler are here.

  • The internet is a wonderful wonderful thing; but it was a hard nail in the coffin of this kind of beautiful Theatre. Look at their faces-just magical escape.

  • lmao those bitches are mad as hell.

  • I don't know what's funnier, Kaufman or the hicks in the audience going crazy.

  • YOU DON'T TOUCH ME, BABY!

  • I'd wrestle the girl at 1:42 pretty hard...

  • @WatchVenusSpa I've been saying that for years! Kaufman would have been banging down the door in New York a year later to have a piece of the Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection!

  • Man... the second half of the XX century kicked ass... XXI sucks so far, so plastic, so soulless so heartless...

  • @arkansoul Had Andy lived you KNOW Vince Jr. would have brought Andy up to NYC to do a similar run with Piper or Hogan. Vince saw the mistake his dad made when he fired Hogan for making Rocky III, (which made Hogan a huge star and Verne Gagne a boatload of money because he saw this coming and signed Hulkster as soon as Vince Sr. fired him,) and the rest is history.

  • @WatchVenusSpa That's true. Vince Jr. was smart in how he built his daddy's empire, but it killed territorial wrestling in the process.

  • @arkansoul You can argue that the transition from Vince McMahon Sr. to Vince McMahon Jr. had a lot to do with that as well.
