I just saw you guys testing one out here in N.C. ! Thank you so much for letting me hang out and watch, that was VERY COOL! Comparing that critter to a remote control helicopter is like comparing a model rocket to the space shuttle. Just too cool for words.

I wonder if it's possible to automate flight using some kind of UAV control software. It could almost be possible to have this thing pick up pizzas for you. Just leave a note that says "put pizza here" and they'll figure it out.
That's assuming that it could lift a pizza. How much weight could it lift given that its maximum force output is 118 newtons? I'm kind of bad at physics.

@smatini: Unfortunately not - if we would have something like that we could fly a few days... . Our #1 aim is to design our systems very efficient. This is the only way to achieve 70 min flight time with an electric powered system.
