This is so hard to watch. My fiance of 2 years has CF, and every single time I watch a video like this, I can't help but picture her face on these amazing people. So many tears, and you all deserve every one of them.

Rest in peace, beautiful. I wish I'd seen your blog sooner. I love you, Eva.

It has been a year today. RIP Eva, you may be gone but you will certainly never be forgotten. xx

I didn't "meet" her until about a month after she died. I'm 15 with cystic fibrosis and I hope I can be HALF the fighter she was. You go, Eva. Please tell Emily Haager in heaven that I love and miss her. Also tell her that she's gotten me into blogging and publically speaking about the connections between surfing and CF. I love you Emily and Eva.

Every once in a while, somebody comes along to make us realize what a true gift our own lives are... the lives we all too often take for granted.
The knowledge that she has shared her love with so many people will have made her transition to a better place smoother, and the open way she spoke about it gives me hope that I might one day be so brave.
Death is a part of life, and I love that she has opened the conversation for others in a similar situation.
May she sleep in heavenly peace.
