  • Do you use Bituminous coal in your locomotive?

  • Bill uses "Welsh Coal" . He has to get his coal from a special source. I do not know where you are located but i got some similiar coal from a place in East texas.

  • I got an Aster C62last year that Jeff Runge is repaiing for me. I plan on using hardwood charcoal in it. A gentleman from Trinidadhas one and heusesonlycharcoal.. I found asource for SOUTH aMERICAN HARDWOOD THAT i PLAN ON USING.

  • Thanks for your comments. I plan on doing one for my Aster c62 in the near fture. I have been fine tuning he since as on theshelf for 30 years.

  • Bill Courtwright gets loads of pussy just from this video

  • Yea, I bet real wood charcoal would work well. Its probably more readily avalible and less expensive that real coal.

  • Thanks, Im located in North Carolina. I've heard good things about Welsh coal but Im having trouble locating a source. Some of the black smiths near me use Bituminous coal in their forge so I thought I might get good results in my locomotive.

  • I have nothing against wild life at all, but some one needs to take a shot at that anoying bird.

  • Wow, this is a great video! There are very few detailed step by step coal firing videos on here and even though I know how to coal fire, I still think this video was exactly what I needed when I first got my loco. I was looking for a video on this but couldn't find one. I hope this video will help other people who were in my situation. Many thanks.
