And Our Eternal Home

  • only 3 days WOW...

  • God is always with us!.

  • Lord have Mercy! This is one of the, if not THEE most, moving entrance of our time...with Billy Graham in one of the last times we'd ever see him in public, and for this occasion of such unparalleled sadness, perhaps the only religious figure of stature great enough in America to give reassurance at such a time and acceptable to the majority of Americans of every faith and persuasion.

  • Ironic that the average person would NOT have been allowed into that "National" prayer service due to all the "dignitaries", the newly selected president and all those military officials. Just a photo op for the great and powerful to get seen "doing something" which of course means doing nothing.

  • O tempora, o mores. At that service, there was the prominent presence of Rev Billy Graham, (then) Archbishop Theodore McCarrick of Washington, a Rabbi, an Imam, and several other Protestant clergy.

Ten years later the service to commemorate that terrible day consists of 2 Episcopalian priests, an Imam, a Rabbi and representative Hindu and Buddist

  • @pfretz13 Wow! I just did. Now THAT's what I'm talking about!!! Very moving, as well. Thanks so much.

  • @pfretz13

On youtube, look up, "National Cathedral - My Shepard Will Supply My Need" from the same service.

  • @nauort23

They do, and often, but this service was planned in short time!

  • @ernestmskinner Too bad they can't train some of those rich kids at the Nat'l Cathedral School to accompany this fine organ with some decent descants.

  • the best version so far...all the intangibles are insync
