Lenzelle Smith (Zion-Benton) finished with 29pts and 11rbs.
Ben Brust (Mundelein) finished with 37pts (6 3-pointers) and 8 assists.
Mundelein defeated Zion-Benton by the score of 80-71.

wrong coltlove. Smith is heading to Columbus to join forces with big smooth aka Jared Sullinger and others as the top recruiting class in the big ten if not the country. prepare.

dang it! yet another cornfed sharpshooter. he'll make a perfect Hawkeye. in spite of a generally sizable gap in athletic talent those Iowa teams are always a brutal struggle for OSU. they're like Wisconsin in football. they slow it down and reduce it to a lowest common denominator/slogfest.

Mundelein had a HORRRRRRIBLE season compared with the preseason hype.

I really don't believe he's improved,but your right Rodney Clinkscales and Marcus Yarborough are d1 players, and Zion isn't as great as they were in years past.

@jknoahfan That isn't true. He had a great surrounding cast. He is a top-notch player and will succeed in the Big Ten. IMHO
