On February 26 and 28, 2009, Music Director Robert Spano led the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Chorus in an ASO Theater of a Concert presentation of Haydns The Creation. Haydns vivid portrait of the seven days of creation as described in the Book of Genesis is part of the ASOs Theater of a Concert initiative to explore different formats, settings, and enhancements of the musical performance experience. Soloists were soprano Janice Chandler Eteme, tenor Thomas Cooley, and bass Derrick Parker.
