No, rape is not romance, but neither is nearly letting someone be executed for a crime you committed, or lots of other things that routinely happen on a soap. The romance is in the redemption, forgiveness, and understanding... This applies to hidden pregnancies, baby-switches, and blackmailing, as well. This is not an argument in favor of or against Ejami (though I am an Ejami fan). Just pointing out the law of soapland.

Sami raped Austin using drugs. That was rape, no question. Sami was given a choice, that's not rape. I'm not saying it's right but in my eyes what Sami did to Austin was worse than what EJ did to Sami.
