Final Fantasy Tactics - Battle 03

This battle has Ramza and Delita stumbling upon an attack by the Death Corps. on the Marquis escort...and tasks you with rescuing perhaps the biggest bastard in RPG history, Algus.

Those of you who don't get what I'm talking about...you will. Don't worry.

This battle can range anywhere from easy to moderately tough, depending on whether you choose to save Bastard McCockface or not. When my brother and I were still young, we appealed to our sense of justice and said "well of course we'll save him! We're good people!"

Of course, that entirely fades when you realize a few things:

1) The battle is far easier if you choose to defeat all enemies instead.
2) Algus is a jerk and doesn't DESERVE to be rescued.
3) THE GAME ACTUALLY REWARDS YOU FOR NOT CHOOSING TO SAVE HIS LIFE. You get +8 temporary brave for choosing Option 1, and a permanent +2 as well. Jeez.

Also, you may notice a small tactical blunder on my part in this battle...but it's not like I could have KNOWN Throw Stone was going to knock the guy back.

Of course, to be safe, I could have just targeted the panel.

Hindsight really IS 20/20.
