can somebody please explain to me what the "drone" is
MustangGT600HP 2 years ago
Basically, "drone" is a term used to describe sort of a low frequency harmonic that creates interior resonance inside the vehicle. The effects makes you feel like you have a deep buzzing sound in your head, it also vibrates things inside the vehicle. A slight change in RPM can make the drone dissipate or get worse. I don't think it is that bad though.

Hi,I have a question after you install the mac axle-back to the mustang, the sound inside the car is too loud???
ddanielsam 3 years ago
I don't think it's too loud. It is the loudest axle-back setup out there from the interior of a stock s197. SLP Loudmouth is pretty quiet on the inside but EXTREMELY loud on the outside. I think these Mac axle-backs are perfect.
