Don't fret, though, in times like this [Summertime where Hong Kong is packed with foreigners/tourists], PCCW offers days of free Wi-Fi/cheap Wi-Fi and some nearby restaurants/coffee shops offer 20 minutes of Free Wi-Fi daily. That should help get your fix for this app if you don't have a mobile data connection in Hong Kong.
Even if you do have mobile data services in Hong Kong, you can still receive signal from underground!
