well i made a vig overlay in photoshop that would cover all the ugly vig with a white background. then i import it into the video. and i just mess around with the keying and change the white into transparent. in result i have nice sharp vig.... alot of people think its to sharp though.

i use an hv20 and a baby death too. how do you make the vig lines so sharp... i use sony vegas.

So is there a difference between the hv20 or what ever hv model and the hg20? Besides mini dv tapes and the hdd capture
