@Minnehaha62 Her sharp starts are most likely following the instructions of the conductor Christophe Rousset who places dramatic expression over exactitude as was the tradition of French opera since Lully.

She starts sharp at the beginning of the first two phrases!! She should know better (and so should the people who let it be recorded).

i was there to see it. ;-) i don't think it was in amsterdam.. but rather in versaille for the 20th birthday of baroc music center.
