The Rabbi must have had a late night....the circumcision is supposed to go somewhere else.

@dasgemuse that's pretty scary, I've gotten infections under my nails before from smashes and cuts, luckily they were not what you got. I gotto be more careful, lol.

OUCH!! I think you were lucky.
I was in my early teens when I tried to build a cherry bomb. My hands were inside an orange ball of flame and there was a hissing sound. After this, I panicked. Both hands looked like cooked chicken with fingernails rolled back like scrolls. I ran around the table for 30 seconds and then the pain hit. After this incident I learned to respect fireworks. I still have 3rd degree scars on both hands and it could have been much worse. You and I are lucky.

@Nguli34689 well this was a bacterial infection not caused by explosives at all, so.....

i bite my nails, and i bit too close to the nail bed, and cut me a tiny bit. MRSA found this tiny cut and worked its way completely under the skin (usually on surface) it then grew and started to spread down some tendon and it had to be stopped before it left my thumb. i went to the doctor for an appointment, and was under the knife the next morning. there were no stitches, so that flap of skin stayed there only in a bandage. i still have a chunk missing from my thumb
