@RunetheKoopa i beg to differ, even though i understand and respect your opinion to like the original, i believe the story was better in the sequel and the fact that grovyle was a main character, but i most admit, the rescue teams were a better idea than explorers. In the end, they are both great games with great soundtracks :)

@PsychoxGizmo Yeah, I played the first one too. However, that was when I was, like, 9, and I got stuck at Thunder Mountain (Was that what it was called? Place where zapdos is) fighting zapdos as a level 23 machop and level 22 pikachu :(. BAD combination. Then I lost the game soon after, so... I never really liked it.

I had that feeling in my belly.That feeling,when you have to leave,and theres nothing you can do.I was sweating the whole way through this almighty tower,scared as you could possibly be.I didn't want to leave my partner.Then,after beating Rayquaza,I knew the time had come.The time to leave.

hah, I remember just standing there with this song playing, it was so epic. I got chills hearing this then and I get absolute shivers now. Nothing can compare.

@WellIAmTheOne90 Probably since it's technically more advanced when it comes to video games. That, and it was pretty much "easier" to play, given all the upgrades it was given since the original. I definitely see where you're coming from, but I just have to agree that Red/Blue Rescue Team wins over my vote.

My stupid copy of the game glitched so I can never beat Groudon. All my attacks only do 1 damage. I'm not underleveled so I can't see why this would happen.

Sure, this is sheer nostalgia to me, it remainds me when I played this game in 2006...but the second is BETTER!

@wesmellbad123 Have you played the original? For those gamers who got the game right when it came out, this is nostalgia heaven for them. The sequel had some pretty good aspects and a nice story line, but for most of us it just can't match up to the original.
