@Worsthoofd - Right, but you don't seem to understand what banning means: It means that law abiding people may no longer defend themselves. You can see in every country that has banned fire arms that people are at the mercy of the police or the criminals, and go through life cowering. In fact, the countries most for banning firearms are totalitarian regimes and NOT free nations. Guns exist. They are the reason White people took over the world. They're here to stay, and good ppl should be owners

Seriously. The 'blaming the tool' argument is completely vapid. Guns are tools yes... Designed to KILL. That's their only reason for being in existence. To kill things. It's also the main reason why many people want to ban them. I'll repeat it once more: gun-control activists want to ban guns because they are DESIGNED TO KILL. Not because they blame guns for somehow killing people by themselves, but because they make killing much easier.

A lot of the pictures are of unarmed victims and people got bombed. Without the guns, these pictures would still be full of people got a bomb exploded by them, we'd see more beheadings and stabbings as well.

People blame the tool and not the people though. Makes it easier to blame something that can't speak for itself.

they won't blame criminals. Infact, they seem to treat criminals like they were the victims many times.

Japan is homogeneous and controls their immigration well. They also have a strong shame culture. The British on the other hand, don't have any of that and do live in constant fear of getting knifed and jacked, and when the citizens fight back against the criminals, the law gives the crooks all the sympathy and the law abiding citizens all the bullcrap.

So, because the terrorists and criminals of the world have guns, we should disarm all law abiding citizens who only want to protect themselves? Makes sense to me.

That's why Pol Pot banned guns, the Nazis banned Jews from owning guns, Stalin banned guns, etc etc etc.

To make everyone safer. Except for the people who had enough sense to keep their guns.

Yes, and they have a hell of a lot lower "Justifiable use of firearms in self-defense" than the U.S. does.

Can't look at one side of the coin without the other. More good people do more good things with guns in the U.S. than bad people doing bad things. And a lot of those murders are just from the nature of crime itself. Drug dealers killing drug dealers to get them out of the way and drive up profit, gangs killing rival gangs. A shame of course, but restricting my guns won't stop it.

Um, so how come in other civilised societies with better gun control (in other words, every single other first-world country) there's less gun crime? I'm just saying, we're all doing a lot better than y'all are, death-by-gunshot wise.
