i agree with music jeffery, its just not powerful enough, you reach your maximum volume to soon, and it just sorta stays that way for most of the cadenza, perhaps try to use your shoulders and back to get more sound, you use your forearms a lot and typically that wont give depth to your sound. Forearms make loud sounds, using arm weight with your shoulders and back will give a much warmer fuller sound. but good job.

Better interpretation than most. But too slow, not powerful enough, and a little weak on the rhythmic aspects. Too many people are playing this concerto nowadays who shouldn't attempt it until later in their careers.

When I read this comment I thought it was an exaggeration by a fan of Ms. Tang. But it is an accurate assessment! Ms. Tang plays with a great sense of drama and conveys the epic character of this cadenza/development section. Her technique is powerful and commanding and her interpretive skills are amazing.
