  • I love how there are still people commenting on this. I also can't believe how awkward I looked five years ago. My, my, how the time does fly. For anyone that's taking this seriously, please don't. We were nothing but a motley crew of high school misfits who hated madrigals. If only there were recordings of our Broadways songs...much more enthusiastic.

  • @ericlovesjudy Oh I havent heard many choirs sing this. My bad. I have never heard this song so i couldnt tell they are out of tune.

  • @summertimegirl44 umm... King's Singers??

  • @ericlovesjudy I'm not saying that this is the best version!!! summertimegirl44 says that, not me!! I said they are out of tune :S

  • @Thyrsis, if this is the best version, you are either in this choir, haven't heard many other choirs do this, and certainly haven't heard the 1984-85 Tucson High School Troubadours of Tucson ensemble do it. Period. End of subject.

  • @summertimegirl44 The best versión?? They are out of tune!!

  • i loved this i think its the BEST version on youtube!

  • @snitaly you can't smile while singing :)

  • i totally agree.

  • You can smile you know, it's a happy song :-D

Pronunciation of the lalala is a bit weird, sounds more like euhm luhluh or lohloh or something. You get kinda mixed up with the lala each second time (after and to the bagpipe sound, say dainty nymphs and speak you know), but that's a very tricky piece of course. The tenors are just missing out, totally flat. The ladies are great though!

This is one of the classicals in my choir, we sing it a lot on random occassions, great memories :-)
