Learn how to set up a time-varying pressure pulse on a lid as a boundary condition. The example is done on an FSAE intake manifold. The pressure data are developed with an equation in a spreadsheet, and imported to Flow Simulation.

  • @Sigsite723. Alternatively, you can visit the GoEngineer web site. This YouTube response dialog will not let me post an email address to write to, but you can Google the GoEngineer web site and locate the support page.

  • @superhornet59 . The trajectories should update if they do indeed change direction. It might be a program issue. The best thing to do is contact your VAR for troubleshooting. Please let me know if GoEngineer is your VAR and I can forward the issue to technical support (they will need your actual name, organization name, and the SolidWorks serial number).

Thank you for watching! -Tony B.

  • Hi, how do you get the flow trajectories to keep refreshing? I have set up a transient simulation of a wing going from 0 to 20 degrees angle of attack, and I can either set up a 'regular' trajectory animation (in a single time frame, no wizard) or I can set up a time-dependent one, and the colors (pressure) of the trajectories updates for each time step... but their paths do not! This is very confusing. If you could post a video of how you animated this, it'd be a lifesaver.. Thanks!
