Intergalactic means involving more than one galaxy.

Last I checked no ship in this galaxy made any contact with beings from other galaxies in that period of time.

I like the sentiment, but one thing that always irked me here was Kirk's rather combative response near the beginning. "One thing we are agreed on is that Lokai is a criminal." "No, what we agree on is that Lokai stole a shuttle craft." Yeah, Kirk. He stole what amounts to military hardware. I'm pretty sure that makes him... A CRIMINAL.
